Kate Spade New York has unveiled its newest fragrance for Spring 2023—Chérie.
“Sweetheart” or “Dearest” in French, this fresh new fragrance takes Kate Spade New York’s joyful spirit to Paris with a scent and bottle design inspired by the dynamics of pop art.
Chérie adds a punch of energy and playfulness to the brand’s fragrance assortment, offering vitality with floral, fruity and musky notes contained in a red and hot pink round bottle.
The fragrance, created by the master perfumer Louise Turner (Givaudan), is an olfactory expression of her own joyful, luminous and uplifting style, where not only does she capture the scent of the flowers and the texture of petals, but also reflects the sense of femininity, emotion and optimism that Kate Spade New York embodies, says the brand.
The campaign, designed and realized by a female crew of emerging talent, captures the essence of Nouvelle Vague movies with a matching soundtrack. Model and actress Margaux Van Kommer embodies the effervescent spirit of Chérie.

The Fragrance
Chérie opens with a redcurrant and raspberry top note, blended with a sparkling Italian mandarin. The heart note nods to precious flowers, subtly combining hints of sweet pea with jasmine sambac.
