Jared Leto is the latest celebrity to create a skincare brand. The new brand is called Twentynine Palms, and an 11-piece range debuts on October 25th.
It looks regal, in deep violet-hued glass, aluminum, and post-consumer plastic packaging. Many of the packages are designed to refill, reports say.
Leto teamed up with Kate Forbes, who headed innovation at Aesop, to develop the skincare range, Vogue reports, breaking the news today.
Leto posted the video below to his Instagram account. The first products to launch will include a $97 eye cream with prickly pear extract, a detoxifying kaolin powder clay mask, and an exfoliating solution.
The new brand will include more than just skincare, expanding to body care, hair care, and fragrances. Leto also has plans for home products, design, wellness, and more.
Leto said, "I’ve never been really interested in beauty products...But I’m interested in the idea of taking care of ourselves in the most natural way possible." The line features clean formulas.
The name, Twentynine Palms, comes from the town at the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park.
