Sephora is now the first national beauty retailer to partner with Shipt, the same-day shopping and delivery service. Shipt app users can now get beauty and wellness products delivered to their doorstep in as soon as an hour.
To celebrate the partnership, Shipt recruited Jonathan Van Ness, Emmy-nominated television personality, author, podcaster, and hairstylist, to curate a "Spring So Clean Collection."
The limited-edition shoppable collection features a curated list of clean beauty products from Van Ness. The list includes skin-softening cleansers, dewy highlighters, serums, and hair care. It is available exclusively to Shipt shoppers now through March 31, 2022.
"We are thrilled to be entering the prestige beauty market with Sephora," said Rina Hurst, Shipt's chief business officer.
Sephora Says It Is Expanding Its Reach
Beauty retailing is evolving as consumer shopping habits change. Carolyn Bojanowski, senior vice president, general manager of eCommerce, Sephora, says Sephora is committed to delivering an exceptional client experience—"in a world where consumer needs are ever-changing."Bojanowski adds, "As we continue to cater our offerings to meet our clients' unique needs, it was important to us to find a partner who not only had the potential to help expand our reach to new-to-Sephora clients, but also support our current clients and new ways of experiencing beauty retail today."
Sephora joins over 140 retailers already on Shipt, including Walgreens, CVS and Target. The delivery service is available in cities nationwide, and recently added nearly 500 locations to its platform.
Shipt is offering free delivery for a limited time, and shoppers making a purchase from Sephora on Shipt, now through March 16th, will be automatically entered to win the "Spring So Clean" collection by Van Ness. One lucky winner will be contacted on March 17th.
