Amorepacific Group has shared its fiscal year 2021 earnings summary. Revenue was up 8% to KRW 5.3 trillion ($4.4 billion) and operating was up 136.4% to KRW 356.2 billion ($298 million). Amorepacific, the major subsidiary of the group, reported revenue of KRW 4.86 trillion (4.1 billion), up 9.7%.
Domestic sales accounted for the majority of sales once again at 63.2% of total revenue, a rise of 13.6% year over year. Overseas sales increased 3.3%.
Both the e-commerce and travel retail channels performed well, with the former growing around 40% and the latter now accounting for 37% of total revenue. Traditional channels’ sales declined due to the impact of Covid-19 and offline restructuring.
