    OPI has partnered with a pop culture icon to create a new Hello Kitty Collection for the upcoming holiday season.

    It marks the 45th anniversary of San Rio's Hello Kitty. The products are launching at Ulta now -- and include nail polish in 12 Kitty-approved colors, and the nail polish bottles feature caps decorated with a bow pattern. 

    A nail lacquer set in the line is in a cute red box, shown above, with die-cut windows inside shaped like Hello Kitty's face.

    It's not OPI's first collab with the cute character. Back in 2016, OPI's first Hello Kitty collection launched -- and OPI says it is still its "most talked about collection of all time."

    Jill Bartoshevich, OPI global director of color collections, says, "Let's Be Friends! is the most searched for OPI color in the brand's history." The cotton-candy shade is shown above.

    Bartoshevich continues, "We had to bring back this perfect powdery pink. It's joined by an array of shades that are all must-haves for the season - whether heading to a holiday party or looking for that special gift."

    Jill Koch, sr. vice president of licensing and business development at Sanrio, Inc., adds, "Our partnership with OPI was one of our most popular collaborations to date."

    Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI co-founder and brand ambassador, says, "We were blown away by the response from the first Hello Kitty Collection, and the demand hasn't stopped three years later."

    The collection is available at Professional Salons, beautybrands.com, Chatters, Dillard's, Hudson's Bay, Regis, Sally Beauty, ULTA, ulta.com and Amazon Beauty. It will also be available on Sanrio.com and select Sanrio stores. OPI is guaranteed only when purchased through authorized professional beauty outlets and prestige stores.
