    Karl Lagerfeld and ModelCo are collaborating on a limited edition makeup line. No doubt fashion fans will race to purchase the collectible packaging -- some of which is designed to look like the fashion icon. 

    The Karl Lagerfeld + ModelCo color cosmetics collection will launch on May 14, 2018. It features a range of innovative beauty products. Channeling the theme of “Illuminated Beauty” the collection includes more than 50 beauty products for face, eyes, and lips, plus accessories. 

    The products "combine ModelCo’s high-quality formulas and innovative, technical packaging with Karl Lagerfeld's artistic aesthetic that is sophisticated, modern and cool," ModelCo states. 

    The packaging of the Lip Lights, Lip Balm and Brush Sets features a Karl Lagerfeld head silhouette.

    Pier Paolo Righi, CEO of Karl Lagerfeld, says, “Our consumers are at the heart of our business, and we are excited to inspire them with the innovative collection...It translates Karl’s vision and brand spirit into iconic cosmetics, and we look forward to launching this limited edition collection.”

    Shelley Sullivan, founder/CEO, ModelCo, says, “I was honored to fuse ModelCo’s beauty knowledge with one of the world’s most renowned and iconic names in fashion, Karl Lagerfeld, to produce the KARL LAGERFELD + ModelCo color cosmetics collection. Each product carries ModelCo’s signature innovative design. The limited edition collection is a tightly edited, highly polished range of beauty products that are suitable for all skin types.”

    The Campaign

    The Karl Lagerfeld + ModelCo collection campaign features British supermodel Stella Maxwell alongside an animated, 3D character of Karl Lagerfeld. The campaign is titled “Kiss Me Karl.” The products are limited edition and will have one stock drop only.

    The collection will be available at Karl Lagerfeld stores and at Karl.com, on ModelCo's website, and at in the U.S. at Nordstrom; in Europe at Douglas, Cult Beauty, Nocibe and Galeries Lafayette; and in the Middle East at selected retailers.
