    Anisa International recently launched The Frida Kahlo Limited Edition Brush Collection on Amazon. The Collection, inspired by Frida Kahlo’s passion for artistry and life, is the first license secured by the company and will sell on Amazon for a limited time.
     
    Anisa Telwar Kaicker, founder and CEO of Anisa International tells Beauty Packaging: “While this is a new venture for us, we are keen on finding the right partners to collaborate on products that offer a unique point of view, which is why we selected Frida Kahlo to be our inaugural licensed offering. As a fiercely independent female artist, Frida Kahlo embodies how we want everyone to feel when they use our products. She knew what she stood for, and was authentically herself, not apologizing for who she was. We decided to embark on this first licensing partnership during our 25th anniversary to help the brand better understand and address the ever-changing demands of the beauty market. More specifically, we chose to pursue a direct connection to the end-consumer through a distribution channel that is very much a part of how we all shop today – Amazon.”
     
    Kahlo, known for her iconic self-portraits and beautiful artwork, used brushes as a means to create art and art as a means to express her individuality. To that end, Anisa International designed its Frida Kahlo Limited Edition Brush Collection to inspire consumers’ inner artist. The collection consists of: Frida Kahlo Highlighting Beauty Brush & Cleaning Pad ($26 retail); Signature Face & Eye Dual-Ended Brush Set ($45 retail); and The Frida Kahlo Kabuki ($29 retail).
     
    Like all Anisa products, brushes featured in this collection are made of synthetic fibers and are cruelty-free. The Frida Kahlo Limited Edition Brush Collection can be purchased by visiting Amazon.com (products are available for a limited time).
