La Roche-Posay is partnering with the George Washington University Cancer Center to launch the GW Supportive Oncodermatology Clinic. The first patients will be seen in mid-May.
The clinic will serve the comprehensive dermatologic needs of cancer patients by addressing the broad range of issues that occur during and after treatment. It is being led by Dr. Adam Friedman, Associate Professor of Dermatology, Residency Program Director, and Director of Translational Research in the Department of Dermatology.
"This is a great example of how academia and industry can partner together in a meaningful way to target a common mission, in this case, to improve both the quality of life of those being treated and managed for all forms of cancer and their ongoing care in collaboration with our colleagues in Oncology," shares Dr. Friedman.
