    Coty Revs Up eCommerce Strategy

    Appoints Sean Foster to further momentum

    In a move to greatly bolster its eCommerce presence, Coty Inc. has appointed Sean Foster as global SVP of eCommerce. Foster will oversee the company’s eCommerce strategy and execution for all three of Coty’s divisions, including building out better omni-channel user journeys and amplifying eCommerce domain depth across Coty's major markets through accelerated recruitment and capability investments. According to Coty, Foster's arrival and the underlying build out of deeper eCommerce teams is another key step in Coty's digital transformation.
     
    Camillo Pane, CEO of Coty, said, "Digital is a cornerstone of our strategy for the new Coty. At the core of this focus is our commitment to working with our priority retailer, salon and stylist partners to drive category growth. We are excited to welcome Sean to Coty to help us build a richer set of eCommerce capabilities.”
     
    "We've been building four digital pillars: Marketing Science, Content Foundry, Media Optimization and Omnichannel," said Jason Forbes, chief digital and media officer for Coty. "Our priority is expanding consumer reach with better content on the right media platforms to drive sales in a highly fluid marketplace. Sean's background is a perfect fit for this."
     
    Foster has more than 20 years of digital and eCommerce experience and joins Coty from roles as CEO of Crowdtap, president of Avon online and the head of marketing for Gilt.com. He will be based in NYC, reporting into Jason Forbes.
