Wahl Grooming's mobile barbershop travelled across the country last year to visit the Top 10 Most Facial Hair Friendly Cities in America -- and has named its Man of the Year.
The winner of Wahl's annual Man of the Year contest is Chicago's Jeremy Davis. Davis won a $1,500 Grand Prize, and he will be featured in a national ad campaign.
"Our annual facial hair face-off is designed to find and celebrate guys who embrace a whiskered lifestyle," said Steven Yde, division vice president of marketing for Wahl. "Not only do we seek out men with a knack for grooming, we look for men who consider facial hair to be an integral part of who they are."
"Jeremy exudes what it means to embrace facial hair as a lifestyle," continued Yde. "He's a believer in the impact it has on a man's overall look and confidence — and he has a great full beard."
Davis' beard is a bold outward expression of who he is; he changes up his look often to reflect his fun, outgoing, and adventurous personality. "My wife says I like being the center of attention, and my beard does that for me before I even have to say anything," he said.
