L'Oreal Paris was the official hair and makeup partner of the Television Academy for the 67th annual Emmy Awards last night, and today - September 21st - the brand and its celebrity experts are on social media reporting on the Emmy's top beauty trends using the hashtag #LorealIcons.
The brand's "Icons" collection is being promoted at Walgreen's, in stores and on its website.
The expertly curated collection is shown at left. It includes the brand's most adored, classic red carpet essentials.
The products shown, from the L'Oreal Icons Collection, are: Colour Riche Lip Colour, which is 30 years old; Voluminous Mascara, 25 years old; True Match Makeup, 10 years old; Elnett Satin Hairspray, 55 years old; Excellence Haircolor, 20 years old; and Revitalift Skincare, 20 years old.
Do you recognize the iconic packaging L'Oreal has been using for more than a decade for each of these brands? The designs - and colors used by each brand - have no doubt become instantly recognizable symbols in the minds of consumers, from the line drawn illustration on the Elnett hairspray can to the gold accebts on the mascara and lipstick, as well as the unforgettable purse-size foundation bottle.
L'Oreal Paris also deployed makeup artist Sir John as its official Emmys beauty correspondent for the show last night. He has been sharing exclusive red carpet and behind-the-scenes content on @LOrealParisUSA's Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest channels.
