Nu Skin President and CEO Truman Hunt was honored as a CEO of the Year by Utah Business magazine. The award recognizes leadership, as well as measurable indicators of company growth and how CEOs overcome adversity or unique situations. The magazine features Hunt in this month’s issue and he will be honored at a luncheon in Salt Lake City at the Grand America Hotel on March 29.
“Truman is highly deserving of this recognition — his strategic vision and commitment to continual innovation has helped drive expansion of scientific and product breakthroughs that have resulted in greater financial opportunities for people around the world,” said Blake Roney, Nu Skin co-founder and chairman. “Since Truman became CEO, he has led the company to substantial growth, nearly doubling Nu Skin’s revenue in nine years and increasing the company’s market cap by more than four times. He is a great champion for our global Nu Skin family, tirelessly working to provide a vibrant business opportunity around the world.”
Recently under Hunt’s direction, Nu Skin has achieved record revenue of $1.74 billion in 2011, a 13 percent increase over the prior year. The company's ageLOC anti-aging products also have generated over $1 billion in sales over the past three years. He also oversaw the development of the new $90 million Innovation Center at the Nu Skin corporate headquarters in Provo.
