As part of its continuing growth, Topline Products Company Inc., headquartered in Wayne, NJ, has announced the establishment of its first North American manufacturing operation in Reynosa, Mexico.
Located across the border from McAllen, Texas, the new Topline plant will initially run filling operations for fragrance and nail enamel products and the assembling of cosmetics gift sets. The new 26,000 square foot facility is also designed with a cleanroom for special filling operations. The leased building has space for expansion to an additional 100,000 square feet.
“Not only does the new North American site increase our global presence,” says Charles Chang, Topline president, “but it will significantly benefit our customers by reducing their working capital costs and supply chain lead time. The new plant thus adds value to our services by enhancing customer productivity and inventory management operations.”
Assembly equipment has already been installed at the Mexico facility, with filling machinery due to arrive by June 1, 2010. Brian Rayner is the Reynosa plant manager.
