The Hada Labo skin care range by Hada Labo Tokyo is launching now in the U.S. The products, which are based on "super" hyaluronic acid, will be sold in the non-prestige market at select retailers, including all 550 Ulta Stores nationwide, as well at at Drugstore.com. The products range in price from $11.99 - $24.99.

Hada Labo was launched by The Mentholatum Company, a division of Japan's Rohto Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., in Japan in 2004. The Hada Labo skin care products are so popular in Asia, a bottle of its Clear Liquid Hydrator is sold every two seconds.

The brand's signature "Super Hyaluronic Acid" is a proprietary combination of three types of hyaluronic acid to provide long-lasting moisture, claiming to effectively restore and strengthen skin's natural hydrating ability that depletes with age and sun exposure.

So - what does the packaging look like?

The white boxes, plastic bottles, and tubes are beautifully adorned with a cherry blossom tree branch. The packaging also features the brand's signature colors - large blocks of red and black highlight the product names and benefits.
