along with its Crest
brands, are supporting the advancement of dental research by funding World Dental Posters, a news website that allows scientific information to be shared publicly. P&G is giving an educational grant to sponsor the site.
World Dental Posters is an open access website that launched in March 2013. It was founded by Philip Giorgi, managing director / co-owner of Stephen Hancocks Limited.
Typically, peer-reviewed posters are presented at industry congresses, conferences and meetings or through subscription-based journals. The site provides scientific researchers the opportunity to upload their peer-reviewed posters at no cost for as long as they wish. Future developments will include forum and discussion areas for connecting researchers with similar interests and ideas from different geographic locations who might otherwise be unaware of each other’s work.
