After months of construction, Shiseido America has unveiled a new 54,000 sq. ft. expansion of its plant on Princeton Hightstown Road, in East Windsor, New Jersey. This plant opened in 1998 and serves as headquarters for Shiseido America.

The new section will open in October, and will serve as the company's U.S. based export center.
The products produced at this plant include NARS and Bare Escentuals, and are exported globally.

The new building's features include eco-friendly lighting, with sensors that turn off when an area is not being used, as well as large windows to allow in natural light.

Ten new workers will be added to its team of 150 full-time employees. They will most likely be transferred from Shiseido's Oakland, NJ plant - which is scheduled to be shut down next year.
