Dr Karl Lintner was awarded the In-Cosmetics Lifetime Achievement award. The ceremony took place on April 16th - the first night of the In-Cosmetics show, at Porte de Versailles in Paris.
The award honors outstanding individuals whose professional accomplishments have made a significant and lasting impact on the cosmetics industry. Linter is well known for his work on skin biochemistry. He has filed several dozen patents and published numerous articles on cosmetics ingredients.
Linter began his career researching biological peptides at the Nuclear Research Centre in Saclay, France and after ten years moved on to positions at leading companies including Henkel and Sederma, where he was CEO for ten years. Linter is currently an independent consultant and president of Kal’Idees, as well as editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Cosmetic Science.
“I am absolutely thrilled to have won the in-cosmetics Lifetime Achievement Award. It’s an honour to be recognised for everything I have done in my career by my past and present colleagues and peers,” commented Linter.
Lucy Gillam, Event Director, in-cosmetics added: “All of the finalists are extremely deserving of their nominations, but we’d like to give a big congratulations to Dr Lintner. He is a prominent force in the cosmetics industry and we’re pleased to be able to recognise his many achievements and pass on the acknowledgment he deserves.”
