Adam Levine, lead singer of Maroon 5 and judge on "The Voice," will launch his first fragrances in September 2013, exclusively at Macy's.
Levine has partnered with ID Perfumes (also known as Adrenalina Inc.), the company that created Katy Perry's first fragrance, "Purr," to develop both men's and women's scents.
"Both fragrances were shaped by Adam's discerning nose, while the bottles and packaging reflect his particular aesthetic sensibilities. This debut fragrance collection is everything a signature scent should be - both a portrait and extension of the brand itself. ' Adam Levine ' for men and women is confident, deeply seductive, and timeless," said ID Perfumes' chairman and CEO Ilia Lekach.
The bottles were designed after a microphone, with a luxurious, weighted cap in silver mesh. The sleek black stem resembles a microphone's wire.
The women's Eau de Parfum will be a floral woodsy scent, containing Indian jasmine petals, Australian sandalwood, rose petals, and vanilla. The men's Eau de Toilette is 'fresh, yet masculine' with mandarin, grapefruit, lemongrass, amber, sandalwood, and cedarwood.
