Many of Rusk's customers, which are salons that carry the haircare brand,were devastated by Hurricane Sandy. Members of Rusk's team visited 25 of the hardest-hit salons on Long Island, New York, on the Thursday and Friday before Christmas. The team donated over $35,000 in product, including hairdryers, that the brand hopes will help with their recovery while lifting the spirits of these business owners during the holiday season.
