Avon Products has named Patricia Perez-Ayala as Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer, and Global Brand & Category President effective December 3, 2012. Perez-Ayala's responsibilities will be the global management of Avon's brand and marketing including consumer insights, commercial marketing, digital marketing, and product category strategy and execution. She will also oversee Avon's R&D, new product development and packaging -- as well as the Liz Earle business.
Perez-Ayala joins Avon following more than 20 years with the Procter & Gamble Company, most recently as Vice President and General Manager, Eastern Europe. She will also be joining Avon's executive committee.

Patricia's proven record of implementing change and driving results makes her the right person to lead Avon's worldwide marketing efforts," said Sheri McCoy, Avon's CEO.
McCoy continues, "Patricia is a global brand builder with over 20 years of experience, including business strategy, consumer marketing and operations in several of Avon's key markets. She is a great addition to Avon's leadership team and I'm thrilled to have someone with her track record as steward of our brand." Perez-Ayala will be reporting to McCoy.
