P&G recently recognized seven of its C+D partners during its Annual C+D Partnership Celebration. Winners were awarded in several different categories, including Innovation Capability, which was won by Beanstalk NY. As P&G's exclusive global licensing company, Beanstalk NY has helped build dozens of licensing agreements that have grown its brands, which include Cover Girl, Max Factor and Old Spice.
The "Connect+Develop" initiative uses social media tools to encourage different companies with various expertise to connect and interact -- often resulting in the development of innovative packaging and products. Suppliers are able to submit an innovation online, for review by P&G's Connect+Develop team.
According to the company, P&G's "Connect+Develop" open innovation partners have helped get products to market in half the time; drive global innovation breakthroughs; and build connections, collaborations, and product equity. “Their collaboration with our teams has been seamless and wholly focused on helping deliver a superior product for consumers,” said Laura Becker, general manager P&G Global Business Development.
