Mintel, the leading global supplier of consumer, product and media intelligence, has appointed Benjamin Punchard to the role of Senior Global Packaging Analyst. Mintel plans to develop and strengthen its existing packaging coverage across all products and platforms, and he will play a key part in developing the company’s global packaging offering. Punchard was previously Head of Global Packaging Research at Euromonitor International, responsible for leading a global research team focused on packaging. Prior to this, he held the position of Packaging Account Manager, supporting the business intelligence needs of an international client base. Punchard has a Masters in Physics (MPhys, University of Leeds) and a Doctorate in Physics (PhD, Polymer IRC, University of Leeds).
