Andrew Ross has been appointed to the role of senior vice president, strategy and new business development at The Estée Lauder Companies (ELC). He succeeds Peter Jueptner, who has been appointed president Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Ross will join the company’s executive leadership team and report jointly to Fabrizio Freda, president and chief executive officer, and Tracey T. Travis, chief financial officer and executive vice president, global finance and strategy.
Ross will lead the ongoing development and implementation of the company’s strategy and 10-year Strategic Compass, and will lead mergers, acquisitions, licensing and alliance activities worldwide.
For the past five years, Ross served as executive vice president and chief strategy officer at ConAgra Foods, Inc.
Guillaume Jesel was promoted to global brand president, Tom Ford Beauty, part of The Estée Lauder Companies. Jesel held the position of senior vice president global general manager, for the brand, for the last two years and has been largely credited with the brand’s success. He has been with ELC for 16 years, serving in a number of senior roles.
Beth DiNardo has added GLAMGLOW to her responsibilities, assuming the title of global brand president, Smashbox and GLAMGLOW. She continues to report directly to John Demsey, executive group president, ELC. DiNardo has led Smashbox since Lauder’s acquisition in 2010, and has expanded the brand’s global footprint to more than 40 markets.
Paula Pontes has re-joined ELC in the role of senior vice president/global general manager, GLAMGLOW, and will report to DiNardo. She succeeds Reinaldo Gonzalez.
