The first edition of ADF&PCD New York, will be held on September 13-14, 2016, at the Altman Building and Metropolitan Pavilion, located at 135 West 18th Street in Manhattan.
ADF&PCD New York, hosted by Easyfairs Oriex, combines two shows in one—ADF, the Aerosol & Dispensing Forum; and PCD, Packaging of Perfume, Cosmetics & Design. Like the Paris edition, the exhibition will feature suppliers and manufacturers in synergistic markets.
Visitors will include packaging experts from R&D, innovation, development, purchasing, sourcing, production and quality control, marketing and general management.
Exhibitors will be showcasing the latest innovations, and more than 120 have signed on to be a part of the show.
Fifty-three percent of aerosols are used for cosmetics, according to the French Aerosols Council, so the ADF section is an ideal complement to the PCD area. ADF’s exhibitors include American Spraytech, Aptar Pharma, Ball Corp., Condensa, Exal Corp., Fareva, Lindal, Technopack and more.
PCD’s exhibitors include ABA Packaging, Albéa, Anisa International, Axilone, Baralan, Cameo Metal Products, Fusion Packaging, Heinz Glas USA, Inca, James Alexander, Leo Paper, Shya Hsin, Stoelzle Glass, Vsar Resources and more.
Technical & Trending Topics
The show’s conference programs will focus on technical innovation and trends, with two tracks, ADF and PCD—plus, The Luxury Packaging Goods Forum, presented by Material Connexion.
Dr. Andrew H. Dent, VP, Library & Materials Research, Material Connexion, will present Material Insight: Cross-Pollination & Knowledge Sharing in the Packaging Industry & Beyond.
Panel discussions will also feature executives from Beiersdorf, Coty, Kao Europe Research Laboratories—plus the Fashion Institute of Technology, Michigan State University and Rutgers University.
One not-to-miss presentation is “Beauty & Makeup Enhancement” by Henry Renella, senior vice president of global package development at The Estée Lauder Companies (and a member of Beauty Packaging’s Board of Advisors).
Two conference sessions that focus on aerosol packaging will be presented by packaging experts at L’Oréal.
Suppliers will speak during the conference sessions as well.
Innovation Awards
Don’t miss the ADF&PCD Innovation Awards presentation, which will be held at the show on September 13. A jury gathered at Material ConneXion a few months ago to review the submissions and choose the eight winners.
