The seventh edition of MakeUp in Paris, which will take place June 9-10 at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, promises to be more popular than ever. Booth space is fully booked with 130 exhibitors, and organizers say they anticipate a record number of visitors, based on pre-registration. Last year, more than 3,200 visitors attended the show.
In addition to the booths, an ingredients area, signature “animations” and a new Digital Area will draw visitors’ attention. Adding to the fun will be several parades staged by four makeup schools. Two days of conferences will round out the vibrant program.
In the Digital Beauty area, visitors will have the opportunity to discover digital solutions applied specifically to Beauty and Makeup, and meet the different service providers in the field.
An Added Focus on Fragrance
Show organizers say that the special exhibition “From Makeup to Perfume” in a new dedicated area at the entrance of the trade show“will help to establish a link between what currently stands as a mostly positioned makeup event, and the logical extension of this targeted event concept to the perfume sector.”
MakeUPigments
Since its inauguration in 2013, MakeUPigments, the show area dedicated to ingredients suppliers, has grown in popularity every year. Intentionally limited to a few flagship companies in the sector, this area attracts visitors from cosmetics marketing and R & D teams. In June, these attendees will be able to take part in workshops organized by BASF, Sensient and Univar.
