On May 7, at The Manor in West Orange, NJ, the New Jersey Packaging Executives Club (NJPEC) inducted five honorees to the organization’s Hall of Fame, based on their dedication, achievements and contributions to the packaging industry. Four scholarships were also awarded to enterprising students in the packaging design arena.
The annual Scholarship and Hall of Fame Dinner is a club tradition started in 2003.
This year’s Hall of Fame inductees were: Walter Armstrong, vice president of sales, Flock-Tex; Steve Chapman, key account manager, Albéa; Bob Cramer, director of packaging, L’Oréal; Bob DeProspo, executive vice president, USS Corp. (in memorium); Henry Renella, senior vice president, global package development, The Estée Lauder Companies (and a member of Beauty Packaging’s Board of Advisors)
