In her new role, Mahon will design and implement a global corporate citizenship strategy, encompassing all philanthropic, cause-marketing, and employee engagement programs across the company. She will have responsibility for synergizing best practices in these areas across the company’s brands, regions and functions, further integrating citizenship into the company’s strategy. She will also play a leadership role in measuring and communicating the business and societal impacts of these initiatives on brand awareness, consumer engagement and loyalty, and employee recruitment and retention.
Mahon succeeds Deborah Krulewitch in this role. Krulewitch, senior vice president, corporate administration, has overseen philanthropic contributions since joining the company in 1988. She will continue to oversee Executive Office Administration, Office Services, and the Company’s partnerships with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Fund.
Marie-Pierre Stark-Flora has been appointed senior vice president, global marketing, for the Estée Lauder brand. Stark-Flora will report to Jane Hertzmark Hudis, global brand president for Estée Lauder. Stark-Flora was the founder and most recently the chief marketing officer of Iluminage, a cutting edge skincare device company created through a joint venture between Unilever and Syneron Medical.
Effective January 1, Agnes Landau will become the senior vice president and global general manager of Darphin, an Estée Lauder Cos. Inc. brand. Landau will be taking over the role from Jane Lauder, who ran the brand following the exit of Olivier Fontaine in February. Landau will report to Stephane de la Faverie, senior vice president and global general manager for Origins, Ojon and Darphin. She will be based in Paris.
Landau formerly served at Clinique.
Nathan Moris has been named vice president/general manager, Travel Retail Americas, at The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. (ELC). Moris reports to Olivier Bottrie, president, Travel Retail Worldwide. He previously held the role of general manager, ELC, for the Benelux affiliate, as well as a number of other senior level positions within the company.
James Aquilina has been named vice president/general manager, Aramis and Designer Fragrances, Origins, Smashbox and GoodSkin Labs, Estée Lauder Travel Retail Worldwide. He also reports to Bottrie. Aquilina has been with ELC for nearly 10 years, in numerous senior travel retail positions. Most recently, he was regional director, Estée Lauder and Tom Ford Beauty, Travel Retail EMA, based in London.
