Coty Prestige called on Alliora to create the promotional set-up box for Florabotanica, the eau de parfum by Balenciaga.Alliora says the subtle packaging highlights the 2D cardboard and the company’s decoration know-how.
The originality of this “dome case” resides in the dressing-up of its lid.
To showcase the packaging design and to create the illusion of entering into the deepest depths of this mysterious garden, Alliora opted for layers of overlapping paper. The cardboard lid is covered with full-color printed grain paper, itself covered with printed hollowed paper, with a satin varnish finish. The trompe-l’œil look penetrates through the trellis, into the exotic, opulent plant life.
Inside, the EDPs and body lotion are housed in a soft-touch white polystyrene thermoformed packaging, covered with a printed wedge-concealer.
