According to Unilever, the contributions of innovative suppliers are a key to its growth—cited at €10 billion since 2009, despite challenging economic conditions. In that context, Unilever’s leaders presented Lindal Group with its innovation-themed award for co-developing the aerosol valve that allows product concentration in the Sure, Dove and Vaseline brand deodorants. The new valves are utilized in the smaller, “compressed” cans for Unilever’s Sure, Dove and Vaseline brands, now on retail shelves.
