Yves Rocher Introduces Moment de Bonheur
Yves Rocher unveiled its novel fragrance, Moment de Bonheur, at the Firmenich offices on Madison Avenue, in Manhattan.
French creator of botanical beauty, Yves Rocher, welcomed 30 guests to the launch of its newest perfume Moment de Bonheur. It is a rose floral green fragrance, with its central ingredient being the Rose Centifolia. These roses are picked at dawn, over a few days in the month of May and then pressed to obtain a rare and pure extract.
Valerie Andre, marketing director for fine fragrances describes the fragrance as “fresh and vegetal, not too sweet.” The fragrance was crafted to evoke a tension between the traditional and the contemporary.
This duality was expressed in the bottle: pink hues descending to a green, which melts to yellow. The gradient is subtle in order to bring the understated French style to the design of the bottle. Its simple rectangular shape is topped with a cap as reflecting as crystal.
Francois Bousquet, vice president of fine fragrances, describes the packaging as “fluid and luminous,” with ivory lightweight cardboard kept simple and minimal. The fragrance is packaged in recycled cardboard from sustainably managed forests. The Moment de Bonheur line also features a 200ml perfumed body lotion and 200ml perfumed shower gel, and will be available for purchase in October.
