Package designers pay attention to every detail of the consumer's experience for these new 2015 fragrance launches.

Forget the teens and even tweens who are fans of celebrity fragrances - there’s an older, more affluent consumer group that wants luxury, and will pay for it.

The latest market research shows that luxury fragrances are on track for growth. And for the luxury consumer, packaging is more important than ever. ‘Luxury’ is evident in every detail of the packaging designed for some of the new fragrance launches this year - see the SLIDESHOW above.

What are these details, specifically? Think about when the consumer touches a carton and it’s surprisingly soft. Or, grasps a bottle’s curves to find that their hand is in exactly the right place to press the actuator with ease. And when the juice seems to disappear on the skin in a fine mist that makes the user want to keep spraying.

Perhaps these seem like minor details that might easily go unnoticed, but together they create the extravagant experience that the consumer expects from a luxury fragrance.
