Associate Brand Manager

American International Industries is the manufacturer and distributor of beauty and grooming products that are sold in retail stores and professional beauty supply stores throughout the world. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and professional Associate Brand Manager.

You will work with our existing Brand Managers to drive all long and short-term brand-specific strategy and develop distinctive, consistent brand communications across all communication channels: packaging, integrated media marketing, sales collateral and internal communications. Will also support all brand-specific financial management including costing, margins and pricing.

Responsibilities:
 Help oversee and manage day-to-day brand related marketing and advertising and execution (in conjunction with Brand Manager).
 Assist in development of integrated cross-platform marketing programs for each key retailer and each retail brand.
 Assists or participates in pitching new programs or concepts to retailers and distributors.
 Responsible for existing product enhancements and new product concepts.
 Supports and documents project tracking throughout internal creative, R & D and manufacturing as well as through outside vendors and agencies.
 Works with internal support to source product components and packaging, develop cost profile and profitability and ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
 Conducts on-going product financial analysis including sales trending, pricing/ profitability and sku optimization (utilizing internal ROI system).
 Identifies category and competitive market trends and makes recommendations to address trends.
 Provides monthly and quarterly reports to brand management.
 Additional duties include the creation of brand manuals and guidelines to ensure consistent brand presentation.

Requirements
 Bachelor’s Degree required in business or related discipline. MBA a plus.
 3+ years experience in consumer packaged goods brand management or marketing.
 Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
 Strong project management skills. Deadline driven.
 Strategic thinker, creative marketer and product innovator.
 Strong analysis skills for data presentation, including summary of key findings and recommendations.
 Possesses strong interpersonal and team relationship building skills.
 Must have a teamwork style that promotes respect, credibility and trust throughout department and organization.
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
 Flexibility to work within an entrepreneurial and privately owned company.
