Elle Morris Named CEO at HMSDesign

Design firm aims to broaden its portfolio

Brand design firm HMSDesign has named Elle Morris to the newly created position of chief executive officer. Morris will partner closely with the firm’s founder, Hugh Montgomery to broaden the company’s portfolio of business and expand into the future.
Morris, a frequent editorial contributor at, holds extensive global design knowledge. She was most recently president of the Americas for New York-based Elmwood Design, an international brand design consultancy. While at Elmwood she led the firm’s North American new business endeavors with significant new client wins that included Lidl, SC Johnson and Russell Hobbs.  She grew the staff size of the firm during her tenure and elevated the firm’s client service platform.
Morris has spent her entire career in creative and marketing services, and is well known in the industry as a powerhouse of design leadership by Procter & Gamble, Revlon, Colgate-Palmolive and Fashion Fair, among others.  She has had extensive experience managing brand strategies for international category leading brands including Revlon, Gillette, Always, Clairol, Olay and Fashion Fair.  
Prior to her leadership at Elmwood, Morris was vice president and managing director of key global accounts at LPK, the world’s largest independent brand design agency.
