BareMinerals is partnering with social media sensation Ingrid Nilsen -- and is paying $500k for its new "face" for a year.
WWD asked the social media star if she thinks she will lose credibility among her fans. Nilsen replied, "My viewers are no strangers to BareMinerals popping up in my videos — even videos that aren’t beauty related…[like] an apartment tour. You can see everything I use, and BareMinerals pops up regularly. It’s something that they’re used to; it’s something I genuinely use every day.”
Nilsen has over four million subscribers on her YouTube channel, and 1.7 million followers on Instagram. As part of the deal, she will promote the relaunch of BareMinerals' Original and Matte Mineral Foundations, WWD reports.
