Ranir has purchased a new manufacturing and R&D facility, which will also be its new corporate headquarters. Ranir is a global manufacturer of store brand oral care products, as well as brands under the Plackers and REMBRANDT trademarks.
The 200,000 sq. ft. facility is located in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where Ranir has grown from a small tenant 22 years ago to occupying the entire building at 4701 East Paris street. The company employs 550 associates.
The purchase will allow Ranir and its brands the flexibility to renovate or realign the facility to meet its continued growth. The building includes office space, product development and testing, as well as ISO certified manufacturing.
Rich Sorota, president and chief executive officer of Ranir, said, "We continue to invest in our business from research and product development to acquisitions and new talent, and felt purchasing our long-time corporate headquarters was an important move to give us complete autonomy and agility in how we operate our business and utilize our space.
Sorota continues, "Our building environment is a critical tool to creating and making great products and serving our retailer and consumer partners, and this is another step toward our goal of delivering affordable, healthy smiles to millions of households every day."
