Kiehl's Since 1851 is finishing its inaugural Kiehl's LifeRide for the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance (OCRFA) today.
September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month. The two-day multi-stop charity ride began yesterday in Los Angeles.
Chris Salgardo, president, Kiehl's USA, led motorcycle riders through the Los Angeles area, making stops at five Kiehl's stores with OCRFA President & CEO Audra Moran, while educating customers on the organization's work.
The riders included actors Gilles Marini, Grant Reynolds, Scott Patterson, and tattoo artist Luke Wessman. The ride concluded with a finale at the Kiehl's store in Santa Monica, where Kiehl's donated $25,000 to OCRFA.
OCRFA is the largest global organization dedicated to advancing private ovarian cancer research, advocating for increased federal research and awareness funding and further policies that support women and their families before, during and after a diagnosis.
