Jessica Simpson Ten is a new fragrance by the celebrity fashion maven and Parlux. It marks a milestone year - celebrating the 10th anniversary of the celebrity fragrance brand.
The limited edition fragrance is Simpson's eighth scent, and was created by Marypierre Julien of Givaudan. It includes top notes of clementine, nectarine and plum; with a heart of frangipani, night-blooming jasmine, orange flower, star fruit and tiger lily. The base notes are vanilla, white chocolate, bean accord, sandalwood, tonka bean and driftwood.
Don Loftus, president, Parlux Fragrances, spoke about Simpson's success with her fashion and beauty empires, teling WWD: “We’ve watched the girl-next-door grow up...And 10 years later, she’s proven her sustainability. She has a great sense of humor, [but] she takes the creation of her products seriously. There’s a continuity to all of her products, from category to category, even down to the gifts-with-purchase for the fragrances.”
The Packaging
The bottle is a curvy crystal drop shape, and it's clear to show off the pale colored juice. The silver-white cap was inspired by the look of a peacock feather, and has a vintage-inspired stopper.
The gold box replicates the cap's style, with an image of a white feather printed on the front.
