PartyLite, which sells its candles, candle holders, flameless fragrances and wax warmers in 23 countries thorugh its team of
independent direct sales reps, has redesigned its 'Escential Jar' candle.
The company has also partnering with New York based fragrance designer Tom Knotek, who created a new fragrance for the company's Scented Jar Candle. It is called St. Moritz, and is packaged in a giftable box.
Knotek said, "At the start of the process for creating a new fragrance, there is the story that you want to tell. The concept of telling a story is achieved through a sequence of fragrant chapters." Knotek describes the new St. Moritz fragrance as "An incredible winter's day spent in the mountains, a walk in the snow, skiing the slopes of St. Moritz - it all becomes a sensory experience."
Knotek used Cedarwood and redwood to produce a deep woody scent "that conjures up a mountain forest atmosphere," according to PartyLite. The fragrance also includes eucalyptus and menthol aromas, which represent the scent of fresh arctic air; plus citrus serving as the top note, inspried by "the wonderful glow of winter's alpine sun." A hint of earthy vetiver rounds out the scent.
A New Look
PartyLite also re-designed its classic Escential Jar Candle (shown above), giving its holder a new curvy shape. Plus - this candle is now available in more than 30 fragrances.
"It is truly an art to take an absolute classic and make it even better, but when you see what we have done with our Escential Jars, you will agree that the results are stunning," Martin Köhler, president of PartyLite Europe.
