DISC, a source of specialty packaging solutions for more than 40 years, has entered into an agreement with Struc Design, LLC., a Los Angeles based packaging design and creative services company. Shane Rossiter and Charles Woodhead formed Struc Design to combine their decades of design experience to develop new and innovative packaging with a focus on the home entertainment industry. Mickey Waite, another experienced industry professional, joined Struc Design to provide project management and account development services.
Shane, whose experience includes working with advanced packaging technologies, is the inventor of DISC’s patented NEO package, which has quickly gained favor as a Blu-Ray collector’s case for the major film studios. Charles Woodhead is an award winning designer whose expansive portfolio includes designs for major software, video games and consumer products companies.
“We are thrilled to be working with the Struc Design team and we are confident this will enhance our position in the highly competitive specialty packaging market. The relationship will enhance our design services for home entertainment customers, as well as provide a firm foundation to expand our position in the video game and software markets”, said Margaret Krumholz, president of DISC. Shane Rossiter states, “Our team has the knowledge and experience to support DISC’s strategy to grow its share of the home entertainment market and we look forward to expanding on the innovations we’ve worked on together.”
