Parents are more aware than ever of the products they’re using on their babies’ skin and hair—and how the products' packaging is discarded after use. In response, Tom’s of Maine has expanded its range of products with a new natural baby care line that helps keep baby’s skin feeling soft, smooth and healthy with no parabens, phthalates or phenoxyenthanol and without the use of artificial ingredients found in conventional brands.
Tom’s says the formulas took over three years to develop, and are pediatrician-tested, hypoallergenic and gentle—and use only purposeful ingredients derived solely from plants and minerals. The new Tom’s of Maine Natural Baby Care Line includes: Tom’s of Maine Baby Shampoo & Wash and Baby Moisturizing Lotion. Both are available in lightly scented or fragrance free varieties.
Product packaging is recyclable through the Tom's of Maine TerraCycle collection program, which gathers shampoo bottles as well as a wide array of oral and personal care product packaging from any brand and recycles them into useful items like picnic tables and park benches to prevent waste from reaching landfills.
