2012 FiFi Fragrance Awards at Alice Tully Hall, New York City where more than 800 guests attended to see who would walk away with the twenty-seven crystal FiFi awards. Prada Candy Eau de Parfum Spray - PUIG USA took home the FiFi for Best Packaging of the Year/Luxe Women, while John Varvatos * USA - Elizabeth Arden won for Best Packaging of the Year/Luxe Men. This year, the Foundation welcomed Jane Lynch as host and emcee of the evening’s program along with on-stage celebrity presenters: Carol Alt, Sam Champion, Tyson Chandler, Philippe Cousteau, Mariska Hargitay, Chaka Khan, Josh Groban, Michelle Monaghan, Kevin Navayne, Nicole Richie, Jessica Stam and Martha Stewart.
The evening also included a touching "Legacy of Excellence" tribute to Mrs. Evelyn H. Lauder. Justin Bieber was honored as the 2012 "Elizabeth Taylor Fragrance Celebrity of the Year," which was presented by The Fragrance Foundation's Board of Directors. Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel was also inducted into the 2012 Hall of Fame. The FiFi Hall of Fame award is voted on by the Foundation’s Board of Directors and is presented to an individual who has brought extraordinary ingenuity, creativity, dedication and inner resources to bear, not only to their company’s success but to the fragrance industry as a whole.
