Keratin Complex Spotlights 'Blondeshells'

Not only do blondes have more fun, now they can keep true to their individual tones without fear of brassiness or fading, thanks to the new Keratin Complex Blondeshell collection. The four products were developed to boost and brighten all shades of blonde, silver and gray—natural and highlighted—without the added expense of salon visits to refresh or brighten color. Key is a fade-fighting chamomile complex and strengthening blend of keratin protein, vitamins and essential oils. The shampoo  ($24) repairs, boosts and brightens, while the conditioner ($24) lends shine and smoothness with collagen and keratin amino acids. In addition, a masque treatment ($36) blends keratin with shea for softness and strength, and a brightening oil ($28) further manages hair and repairs damage. Custom packaging was provided by 3C Inc., Wyckoff, NJ (www.c3cinc.com).

Artistry's Color Collection Leads to Paradise

The sun-drenched glamour of the Italian Riviera led the way to the Artistry 2012 Escape to Paradise Spring Trend Colour Collection, which revisits the elegance of vintage beauty accessories. Lift the black satin ribbon on the Face and Eye Palette ($73.50) to draw up the black velvet flap, and open the pouch to reveal a set of applicators. Pull out the weighty silver and white compact embossed in a croc pattern and tagged with a metallic plaque, and open to reveal a set of four eye and four cheek colors along with a mirror for convenient touchups. The sleek and substantial Lip Gloss Duo Compacts ($58.50) reveal two colors, a tiny applicator and a handy mirror. The luggage tag-like zamac compact dangles from a brass chain that can be attached to a key ring. The final touch: The case snaps shut with a satisfying click due to the magnetic closure. Eye pencils ($23.50) round out the collection.

Truth or Dare by Madonna Debuts

The luxurious bottle and carton for Truth or Dare ($68), the long-awaited fragrance from Madonna, were both designed by Fabien Baron, in collaboration with the superstar. According to Coty Prestige, the dichotomy of  Truth or Dare comes across in the packaging, which aims to balance purity and provocation, with the white of the bottle and logo representing truth and spirituality, and the beading detailing a certain unconventionality. The clean, modern carton is set in gold with a delicate white border, emblazoned with the Truth or Dare logo. The fragrance is described as “the merging of darkness and light, innocence and deceit—dual forces that coexist in all of us.”
